Job summary

Olsson is seeking an Engineer in Training to join the Traffic & Technology team on data center projects across the United States. You will support traffic studies, assist with analyses, and help develop recommendations that support project planning, permitting, and design efforts under experienced engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineer In Training (EIT) certification, and at least 1 year of related traffic or transportation engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of related traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support various stages of traffic and transportation analysis and design for data center developments across the United States.
• Collect, review, and analyze traffic and transportation data to evaluate roadway operations, site access, and traffic impacts.
• Prepare technical reports, exhibits, and recommendations that support project planning, permitting, and design efforts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist with client and agency coordination throughout project delivery.
• Apply traffic engineering principles, company standards, and industry best practices while contributing to multiple projects and meeting project deadlines.
