Job summary

Olsson is seeking an experienced traffic engineer to lead traffic studies and transportation analyses for data center projects nationwide. You will evaluate transportation impacts, develop technical recommendations, and collaborate with clients, project teams, and public agencies to deliver innovative transportation solutions.

You will mentor EIT staff, apply sound engineering judgment, and ensure compliance with design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• PTOE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 4 years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Experience preparing traffic impact studies and transportation analyses; coordinating with public agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic and transportation analysis and design for data center developments across the United States.
• Analyze transportation data and road operations to assess site access and infrastructure needs.
• Prepare and review technical reports and recommendations to support planning, permitting, and design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and act as a technical resource during project development.
• Apply engineering judgment and regulatory requirements while managing multiple projects.
• Mentor EIT staff on traffic engineering and project management principles.
