Job summary

Olsson is seeking an Engineer In Training (EIT) on the Traffic & Technology team to support traffic studies and transportation analyses for data center projects across the United States. You will work with experienced traffic engineers to evaluate impacts, prepare technical analyses, and develop recommendations for new and expanding data center facilities.

This role offers exposure to high-profile projects, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to grow technical expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of related traffic or transportation engineering experience recommended.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work in a collaborative, multi-priority environment.
• Experience with traffic impact studies or transportation planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support traffic and transportation analysis and design for data center developments across the United States.
• Collect, review, and analyze traffic data to evaluate roadway operations and site access.
• Prepare technical reports, exhibits, and recommendations for planning, permitting, and design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and agencies.
• Apply traffic engineering principles and company standards while contributing to multiple projects and deadlines.
