Job summary

HNTB in Houston, TX seeks a qualified engineer to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, reports, and plans for diverse infrastructure projects. You will work with the project team to apply engineering techniques and lead design development using current tools.

The role focuses on contributing to project delivery, developing conceptual and detailed designs, and supporting the execution of complex assignments with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Understanding of engineering principles and project execution.
• Experience with MS Office; familiarity with MicroStation/AutoCAD/Synchro is preferred.
• Master's degree and EIT certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work within schedule and hours.
• Assist in preparing/modifying project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assist in preparing project quantity and cost estimates.
• Support engineering teams with organization of design files.
• Assist in data collection, field investigations, and design development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
