Job summary

Benesch seeks a Traffic Engineer to work on transportation projects for municipal and DOT clients across Kansas. You will perform engineering analyses, prepare design plans for traffic management, and support studies with data and documentation.

The role offers hybrid work from Kansas offices, with opportunities to collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and advance your professional development.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• E.I.T or intent to pursue P.E.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS and Office is preferred.
• Familiarity with Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze traffic data for studies.
• Perform capacity analysis using traffic software for intersections and corridors.
• Conduct traffic safety studies for municipal and DOT clients.
• Develop design plans for traffic management during construction and for signage.
