Responsibilities

• Support DOT and private sector projects with preliminary and final engineering design reviews.
• Review and prepare engineering-related calculations.
• Develop drawings, plans, and visual aids.
• Review and develop cost estimates.
• Prepare technical reports and memos.
• Work on zone/traffic control plan sets.
• Conduct office research, fieldwork, data collection, and data analysis.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering focused on transportation, highway engineering, or traffic engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in traffic design.
• Proficiency in Microstation.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EIT certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise.
  
  

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring candidates to be based in Wilmington or Dover. The work schedule consists of three days in the office and two days remote, with Monday being mandatory in-office. Pay and Benefits
