Job summary

eShipping, LLC is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to manage carrier scheduling and ensure timely movement of goods through our Distribution Center in Bolingbrook, IL. The role requires strong planning, communication, and data-entry skills to optimize daily operations.

The coordinator will work with multiple departments and carriers, monitor appointment flow, and troubleshoot delays to maintain an efficient supply chain. A high school diploma and related experience are expected.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Annually

Position Summary

The Traffic Coordinator works with various departments and individuals in an organization to ensure carriers are scheduled and flow through the Distribution Center in a timely manner. Traffic Coordinators must have good planning skills and the ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in the organization's workflow. Coordinators must communicate with individuals at different levels in the organization and may be required to prepare and present reports for upper management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with outside carriers, customers, or internal departments to develop a schedule for the delivery of products to their proper Distribution Center
  • Monitor the flow of appointments through the process to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
  • Troubleshoot problems to remain on schedule
  • Monitor communication and work between departments or carriers
  • Assists with operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading activities, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, packaging, and sending shipment status information
  • Inbound/Outbound data entry
  • Other duties as assigned
