Job summary

Traffic Management LLC in Watsonville, CA seeks a Flagger/Traffic Controller to manage road closures and ensure public safety. You will learn to close lanes with cones and barricades and perform two-way flagging to guide traffic through work zones.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, delivering barricades and signs, and completing reports. Candidates must meet union-related preferences, pass a drug test, and endure outdoor conditions, including nights and weekends when on-call.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Experience Preferred
• Active and in good standing with Local Union Preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license for 3 Years and a clear motor vehicle record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be available during business hours and able to work nights/ weekends when on-call schedule.
• Able to lift 50lbs and stand on your feet for 6-12 hours per day.
• Decent Communication Skills? English proficiency required for safety coordination.
• Must be able to pass drug test.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safety is our business! As a Flagger/Traffic Controller you are responsible for various road closures and the safety of those passing by.
• You will learn how to close off a road using cones/barricades and be responsible for two-way flagging.
• You will also be responsible for loading trucks and delivering/picking-up barricades, signs & Traffic Control equipment and complete reports and other duties as necessary.
