Traffic Management is seeking a Flagger/Traffic Controller at the Detroit Branch (Southfield, MI). You will help close roads safely using cones and barricades and perform two-way flagging to control traffic around work zones.

Responsibilities include loading barricades and signs, completing reports, and coordinating with teams. Must have a valid license, pass a drug test, and be able to work outdoors in all weather, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license for 3 years.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• This role requires the ability to work with no fixed schedule and variable hours; nights/weekends on-call possible.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand 6–12 hours daily.
• Clear English communication for safety coordination.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the core focus; manage road closures using cones and barricades.
• Perform two-way flagging with stop/slow signs to guide traffic around work zones.
• Load/load-out barricades, signs, and Traffic Control equipment; complete required reports.
