Job summary

Wright is seeking a Traffic Controller to join our construction teams. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training, weekly pay, and overtime opportunities, with no prior experience required.

As a Traffic Controller, you’ll set up and manage safe work zones, guide traffic with cones and signs, and work closely with field teams. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a drug screen are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Smartphone with internet access for timekeeping and communication.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate heat, cold, and rain.
• Pass a drug screen prior to employment and maintain a drug-free status.
• Be able to stand throughout your shift and perform hand/arm movements.
• The position does not allow for frequent breaks.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Have reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones with warning signs and cones.
• Load and unload work zone equipment at the job site.
• Submit all necessary paperwork before leaving the job site.
