Wright is seeking a Traffic Controller in Allentown, PA to assist construction teams and manage safe work zones. The role offers entry-level training, promotion opportunities, and weekly pay. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is currently available for new hires.

No prior experience is required, and safety is emphasized as the company’s guiding principle. Candidates must be able to work in varying weather conditions and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Smartphone with internet for timekeeping and scheduling.
• Weatherproof, tolerate heat, cold and rain.
• Pass a drug screen and maintain a drug-free status.
• Stand throughout shift; hand/arm movement required.
• No frequent breaks.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Capable of performing flagging duties.
• Have reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones with signs, cones, and barriers.
• Load and unload work zone equipment.
• Complete and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
• Wear PPE per Wright policy.
• Keep company vehicles clean and report safety concerns.
• Verify start time and job site address via office scheduler app.
• Read Wright safety manual and employee handbook.
• Report to a Field Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
