Job summary

Integrity, an AWP Safety Company, is hiring a Traffic Control Technician to manage traffic through work zones, install and remove devices, and coordinate with customers to ensure worker safety. The role requires TCT certification or substantial hours, the ability to lift 40–50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Traffic Control Technician (TCT) Certification or 2000+ verifiable hours required.
• Able to lift 40-50 pounds
• Prior experience preferred in temporary traffic control services, utility industry, or construction industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management systems.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test (this is a safety sensitive job)
• Stay alert around moving traffic and follow all safety rules all the time
• Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices according to guidelines.
• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment down.
• Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Help keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outside all year, in all weather.
• Shift changes may occur based on job needs, including nights and weekends.
• Drive company vehicle to transport equipment and team members to sites.
• Follow all company safety procedures and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
