Job summary

ViaSun Corporation seeks a Traffic Control Technician to safely set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control systems on active job sites. You will protect workers and the traveling public while ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

Responsibilities include directing traffic with proper flagging, inspecting work zones, and maintaining clear documentation. Preferred ATSSA certification and experience in traffic control or roadway work are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with crew, supervisors, and the public.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices according to MUTCD standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and inspect work zones daily.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and respond to changing conditions or incidents.
• Maintain accurate documentation of traffic control setups and inspections.
