Lite & Barricade is seeking a Traffic Control Technician to protect roadway work zones across Texas. The role offers paid training, on-the-job certifications, and overtime potential with a well-established company

Responsibilities include setting up lane closures, loading equipment, and maintaining daily safety protocols in outdoor environments across multiple Texas locations including Austin, Dallas, and Waco. Competitive weekly pay and full benefits are provided.

Competenze

• Ability to perform heavy physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and emergency calls.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Dependable transportation.

Mansioni

• Report to Dispatch to receive daily assignments and participate in crew briefing.
• Load signs, barricades, cones, drums, and other equipment; ensure loads are secured.
• Set up lane closures and detours according to plan and TxDOT/MUTCD standards.
• Inspect and adjust work zone; reset damaged equipment and remove devices safely.
• Flag traffic when required and communicate status with Dispatch and inspectors.
• Complete work orders with customer signatures and report back for new assignments.
• Maintain PPE and clean work trucks; comply with safety protocols.
