Job summary

Quail Construction, LLC. is seeking a Road Construction Technician to perform roadway signing and traffic control tasks on-site across Arizona and Nevada. On-the-job training is provided, and you will work as part of a safety-focused team.

Requirements include reliable attendance, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screening. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance with the ability to report to work on time each day.
• Dependable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• CDL is preferred and may result in a higher hourly wage.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor training is preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration.
• Construct sign foundations, including forms, reinforcing steel, and concrete.
• Install signs by hoisting and fastening to frameworks.
• Read and work from plans to locate and position signs.
• Perform signing work including delineators, pavement markings, lane closures, and detours.
• Service, maintain, and repair traffic control devices as needed.
