Job summary

Quail Construction, LLC, part of the Helix Traffic Solutions network, seeks a Road Construction Technician to support roadway signing and traffic control projects on-site in the Southwest. On-the-job training is provided, with emphasis on safety and dependable attendance.

You will install and maintain traffic devices, read plans, and perform sign installations, contributing to safe work zones across Arizona and Nevada.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality for daily shifts.
• Dependable transportation to the job site.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and have a valid driver's license.
• CDL is preferred and may affect wage.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or near job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration.
• Construct sign foundations and anchor bolts, pour concrete.
• Erect frames and install prefabricated signs according to plans.
• Read plans to accurately locate and position signs.
• Perform signing work including delineators and lane closures.
• Service, maintain, and repair traffic control equipment.
