Job summary

Quail Construction, LLC. is seeking a Road Construction Technician to install and maintain traffic control devices, build sign foundations, and read plans for proper placement. On-the-job training will be provided, and CDL is preferred for higher hourly wages.

The role requires reliable attendance, ability to work outdoors in heat, and lifting up to 100 pounds. A valid driver’s license is required, and a pre-employment drug screen is conducted.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration.
• Construct sign foundations, including forms, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, and concrete.
• Erect sign frameworks and install prefabricated signs by hoisting and fastening.
• Read plans to locate, drill holes, and position signs.
• Perform related signing tasks including delineators, striping, and detours.
• Service, maintain, and repair traffic control equipment as needed.
