Job summary

Quail Construction, LLC. is seeking a Road Construction Technician to perform signing and traffic control duties on roadway projects. Training will be provided on the job to ensure proper device installation and safety compliance.

Typical tasks include setting up frames, pouring foundations, and reading plans to locate signs. Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work outdoors in heat, rain, or cold. CDL is preferred and may raise pay.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or near job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration.
• Construct sign foundations and frames, pour concrete where needed.
• Read plans and accurately locate, drill, and position signs.
• Perform signing tasks including delineators, striping, and detours.
• Service and repair traffic control devices as required.
