Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking a Traffic Control Technician to help ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public at construction sites in Escondido, CA. You will assist in directing or diverting pedestrians and vehicles to prevent interference with ongoing work.

Responsibilities include placing temporary traffic control devices, assisting in setting up lane closures and flagging shifts, and following MUTCD standards or approved TC plans. This is outdoors at various locations.

• Assisting in setting up proper Lane closures, Flagging/ Shift set ups, Road closures all per M.U.T.C.D standards or Approved TC plan.

Purpose and Scope

The job of a traffic control technician is to assist with ensuring pedestrians and automobiles do not interfere with a construction project. As a TC laborer, your duties are to assist in directing or diverting pedestrian and vehicle traffic to ensure the safety of the workers and traveling public in the work zone.
