Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Buda, Texas, seeks a Traffic Control Supervisor to design, set up, and manage temporary traffic control in work zones. You will lead crews, monitor safety, and ensure proper installation of traffic control devices.

The role requires 2+ years of traffic control experience, ATSSA TCS training, a valid driver's license, and DOT-regulated background checks. Expect statewide travel and occasional night/weekend shifts as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 2+ years of experience and 4,000 field hours in traffic control.
• ATSSA TCS intermediate training completion required.
• Background check (including MVR) required.
• Drug test and DOT requirements must be met.
• Must be able to read plans and interpret traffic control plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects and sites.
• Place and set up traffic control devices, signs, cones, and arrow boards.
• Monitor work zones for safety and compliance throughout shifts.
• Load and unload traffic control items at shift start and end.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and adhere to safety rules.
