Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems Albuquerque is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to design, set up, and maintain temporary traffic control in work zones. You will supervise teams, operate trucks, and ensure safety in accordance with DOT rules.

Required 2+ years in traffic control with 4,000 field hours, ATSSA TCS training, and ability to lift 70 pounds. Travel statewide, nights/weekends may be needed, with competitive benefits and a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Required valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 4,000 field hours in traffic control and 2+ years of experience.
• Must complete ATSSA TCS intermediate training.
• Background check, drug testing and DOT requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and travel statewide.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and work sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to and from projects and work sites to protect workers and zones.
• Place temporary construction signs and position arrow boards in work areas.
• Set up traffic cones and other safety devices in work areas.
• Monitor the work zone throughout shifts and load/unload items.
• Install, remove, and reset delineators, signs, posts and supports.
• Perform shop work and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; rotate on-call schedule.
