Qualifications

• MDOT-certified Traffic Control Supervisor credential required.
• Experience supervising traffic control on highway construction projects.
• Knowledge of work zone plans, MUTCD, and MDOT traffic control requirements.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel across Mississippi.
• Valid driver’s license; able to work safely around live traffic.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee traffic control setups per project plans and approved traffic control plans.
• Coordinate lane closures, signs, devices, flaggers, and crews with superintendent and MDOT personnel.
• Inspect work zones, address deficiencies, and maintain inspection records.
• Manage traffic control across all operations on the project, including subcontractors.
