Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and ATSSA TCS intermediate training.
• 2+ years of experience and 4,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Ability to read road plans and ensure traffic control plans are implemented.
• Must pass background and drug tests, and meet DOT requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and travel statewide as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and work sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to and from projects to protect workers and work zones.
• Place temporary construction signs and position arrow/variable message boards.
• Set up traffic cones and other safety devices; monitor the work zone during shifts.
• Load and unload traffic control items; perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety rules, company policies and procedures; work on-call as required.
