Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking Protectors to manage traffic safety at job sites. No experience or degree is required.

We provide training, support, and a pathway to a career, with opportunities to advance to Senior Protector, Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, and Manager roles. Daily duties include setting up cones and signs, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and adhering to safety rules. You will work outdoors year-round, possibly nights or weekends, and will receive safety gear from the

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willing to work in traffic and changing weather.
• Flexible schedule; show up on time, every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment down.
• Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Following all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicating with crew and supervisor.
• Helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Working outside all year, in all weather.
• Shifts may change; some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be required.
