Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Trainer to oversee field operations, supervise worksite installations, and ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.

You will train and mentor field employees, read traffic control plans, operate motors tools and forklifts, and enforce safety while traveling as needed to different sites, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in traffic control or a related industry.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Experience using motorized hand tools and field equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow traffic control plans and accurately complete field documentation.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and oversee worksite installations to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Identify and address worksite deficiencies and non-compliant conditions.
• Train, mentor, and supervise employees in the field.
• Safely operate motorized hand tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and maintain safe work practices, particularly around live traffic.
• Accurately read traffic control plans and implement them according to specifications.
• Use rulers and measuring tools accurately and perform basic measurement calculations.
• Operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials.
• Complete timecards, tickets, and other required documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and field personnel.
• Lead by example with cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
