Job Summary:
The Traffic Control Laborer is responsible for assisting the Traffic Control Supervisor in all aspects of the Traffic Control Crew duties. The Traffic Control Laborer will load trucks with necessary equipment for the day ahead; including but not limited to, message boards, arrow boards, traffic signs and traffic cones. The Laborer will assist in setting up equipment at designated projects to ensure safety of Summers-Taylor’s crew and the public.
Job Duties:
• Assists in setting up traffic control signs, boards, and cones under the supervision of TCS.
• Will load and unload the company truck with necessary equipment for daily projects.
• Walks and sets up traffic control equipment in a variety of different settings.
• Will flag traffic when required by supervisor.
