Responsibilities of a Flagger II

• Control traffic at complex worksites using hand signals and paddles
• Prepare flags, cones, signs, and markers
• Assist with general construction work under supervision
• Train other flaggers as needed
• Drive safely, adhering to company safe driving policies
• Follow local, state, and federal DOT guidelines
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Valid State driver’s license (non-provisional) with a good driving record
• At least one year of flagging experience

Physical requirements & exposures

• Work alone in remote locations; operate vehicles and equipment
• Physical activities include bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting 10-25 pounds routinely, and 26-55 pounds occasionally
