Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up signs, cones and barricades and use hand signals and paddles to guide motorists safely.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather with long periods of standing, a valid driver's license, ability to travel for projects, and DOT-compliant safety training.

Qualifications

• Must pass background and motor vehicle records check.
• Must pass a drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training completed.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays.
• Able to work nights and weekends as required by projects.
• Wear safety gear (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).
• Operate 2-way radio and communicate with contractors and team.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and barricades to divert traffic.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear communication with team via radios.
• Stand and walk for extended periods outdoors.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and safety checks.
