Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Flagger to direct traffic around work zones, ensuring safety for crews and the public. The role involves setting up and maintaining MUTCD-compliant devices and coordinating with site teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid flagger certification. You must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Flagger certification (ATSSA/ANSI) preferred.
• Previous experience in traffic control or construction flagging is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk on uneven terrain, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights, as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain temporary traffic control devices, including signs, cones, and barricades, according to MUTCD standards and company procedures.
• Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely and efficiently around construction sites using hand signals and flag paddles.
• Communicate effectively with construction crews, equipment operators, and other flaggers to coordinate traffic movements.
• Monitor traffic patterns and anticipate potential hazards to prevent accidents.
• Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.
