Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction zones and work sites. You will set up and remove traffic control devices, communicate with motorists, and ensure safety of workers and the public outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver's license, at least 6 months in traffic control, and the ability to pass background and drug tests with DOT compliance. Rotation shifts and statewide travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Background check, including motor vehicle records
• Drug test and DOT requirements
• Wear proper safety equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to travel statewide and work nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices to divert traffic
• Manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles
• Communicate with team via two-way radios
• Stand/walk up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 pounds
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment; perform vehicle inspections
