Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Greensburg, PA is hiring a Traffic Control Flagger II. You will direct traffic around work zones, set up and remove signs, cones, and barricades to protect crews and the public. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and you must comply with DOT safety standards.

This role requires outdoor work, the ability to stand long hours, pass a background and drug test, and enjoy teamwork in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug test per DOT requirements.
• Willingness to travel statewide with overnight stays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios.
• Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
