Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in the United States is hiring a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction zones, set up signs and barriers, and protect workers and the public. You will work outdoors in various weather, stand for long periods, and communicate with motorists using hand signals, signs, and two-way radios.

A valid driver’s license and ATSSA Flagger training are required. RoadSafe offers competitive pay and benefits, including a $3,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and background check completed.
• Must pass a drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training completed; defensive driving training preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather and traffic conditions.
• Strong communication with Contractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas.
• Direct traffic flow using stop/slow paddles and hand signals.
• Maintain clear communication via two-way radios with team members.
• Stand/walk for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Travel to multiple job sites and perform vehicle inspections as required.
