ADA Traffic Control, LTD is seeking personnel for traffic control services in Vermont and nearby states. The role features a variable schedule with locations that may shift by contractor need.

Some weekend availability is expected, with both seasonal and year‑round positions available. Typical pay ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, with benefits including a 2500 dollar sign‑on bonus, weekly pay, per diem, and 401(k) matching, plus health and other insurance options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to travel to meet points.
• Ability to stay in overnight lodging (company‑provided).
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Able to stand for 8+ hours, walk long distances, lift 25 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with contractors on the job site.
• Conduct daily traffic plans.
• Set up and tear down appropriate work‑zone equipment.
• Perform flagging operations.
• Maintain safety for themselves, contractors, co‑workers and the public.
• Follow training and safety protocols.
• Stay alert to spot safety hazards.
• Work under pressure and respond to urgent situations.
• Communicate clearly with contractors and the public.
• Submit required paperwork to proper channels.

Salary Range: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

• Communicate with contractors on the job site.
• Conduct daily traffic plans.

• Maintain personal safety and ensure the safety of contractors, co‑workers, and the general public.
• Follow training and uphold safety protocols.
• Stay alert and vigilant to spot safety hazards.
• Work under pressure and react to potential danger in an urgent manner.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with contractors, co‑workers, and the general public.
• Submit required paperwork to proper channels.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to travel to meet points.
• Ability to stay in overnight lodging for weeks at a time (company‑provided accommodations).
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours, walk for long distances, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
