What you'll do as a Flagger
- Control traffic in and around active worksites using hand signs and paddles
- Prepare flags, cones, signs, and markers
- Assist with general construction work under the supervision of the Foreman or Supervisor
- Drive safely and adhere to company safe driving policies
- Follow local, state, and federal DOT guidelines
- Maintain and clean all company vehicles and equipment
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need
- Be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
- Valid State driver's license (non-provisional) and a clean driving record
- Previous flagging experience (preferred)
Physical abilities & exposures
- Work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, and perform physical tasks such as squeezing, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting between 10-25 pounds, fine hand motions, keyboard and mouse use
- Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift between 26-55 pounds
