Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join a field team across multiple sites. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, with a focus on safety procedures and teamwork.

You'll set up traffic control devices, guide drivers with stop/slow paddles, and monitor site activity while working outdoors in various weather. Shifts are long (8–12 hours) and may include nights, weekends, or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40-50 pounds for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and punctuality are important.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including drug tests.
• Demonstrated attention to safety and respectful conduct.

Job description

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic management. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your main duties include

• setting up cones, signs, and barricades; taking down traffic control equipment
• guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
• maintaining safety procedures learned during training
• You will communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, and assist in keeping vehicles and equipment clean and safe. This outdoor role involves working in all weather conditions, standing or walking for 8-12 hours per shift, and may require working nights, weekends, or emergency hours. Participants must wear provided safety gear and bring steel-toe boots.

Key Benefits & Opportunities

Compensation ranges from $17.23 to $18.07 per hour, with overtime and pay increases available. Paid training includes a traffic safety certificate.
