Job summary

PM Security Solutions Inc. is seeking a Lead Traffic Control Flagger (Crew Lead) to supervise flaggers at multiple job sites. You will direct traffic, coordinate with crews, and ensure compliance with MUTCD and safety standards.

The role requires leadership experience, a valid flagger certification, and the ability to manage a team in fast-paced outdoor environments. Expect field coordination, client interaction, and strict adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Traffic Control Flagger is required.
• Lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Valid flagger certification (ATSSA or state-specific) is required.
• Strong knowledge of traffic control standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and supervise traffic control flaggers on assigned job sites.
• Assign positions and responsibilities to crew members prior to shift start.
• Ensure team members are trained, equipped, and following safety protocols.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching or corrective guidance.
• Report attendance issues or performance concerns to management.
• Oversee traffic using stop/slow paddles, flags, and hand signals.
• Coordinate with opposing flaggers and crew members for smooth flow.
• Lead setup and breakdown of traffic control zones and ensure device compliance.
• Serve as the on-site contact for supervisors, clients, and crew members.
• Enforce safety procedures and respond to incidents or emergencies as required.
• Complete daily reports and track equipment usage.
