Qualifications

• Leadership experience directing crews in traffic control
• Solid knowledge of traffic control procedures and safety regulations
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions in fast-changing conditions
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather
• Willingness to train and mentor crew members

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct traffic control crews to set up safe work zones
• Train, mentor, and assign crew members for efficiency
• Oversee installation/maintenance/removal of signs, cones, and barricades
• Monitor work zones for hazards and report issues
• Complete documentation of crew activities and incidents
• Perform Traffic Control Flagger duties as needed
• Maintain required certifications (ATSSA Flagger, etc.)
