The Traffic Control Assistant supports safe and efficient traffic flow around construction zones, events, or road maintenance sites, setting up and removing devices and directing vehicles and pedestrians.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must have 0 or more DMV driving points with Virginia driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have truck driver experience with large trucks (18'–24', non-CDL).

• Establish and maintain safe work zones using the proper equipment.
