Job summary

SpiveyServices in Virginia is seeking a Traffic Control Assistant to help manage traffic around construction zones, events, and road maintenance sites. You will set up and remove traffic control devices, direct vehicles and pedestrians, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate is alert, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions while keeping public and crew safety a priority.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must have 0 or more DMV driving points and a Virginia driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have truck driver experience with large trucks (18' to 24') non-CDL.

• Establish and maintain safe work zones using the proper equipment.
