Job description

Join to apply for the Traffic Clerk Receiving role at Newly Weds Foods.

Position: Inventory Control within the Warehouse Team. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of warehouse inventories, including checking inventory requirements to prevent material shortages.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reconcile inventory levels using SAP WMS and perform physical counts as needed.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure proper material distribution for scheduled production.
• Manage received and inventoried raw materials in collaboration with Quality Assurance, following policies and procedures.
• Perform daily reconciliations post order confirmation.
• Oversee daily cycle counting and inventory adjustments; establish materials for cycle counting.
• Handle Kosher certifications.
• Participate in mock recalls as part of the Recall Team.
• Serve as a backup for the Raw Material and Receiving Manager.

Safety & GMP Objectives

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Recognize unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to safety, quality, and training.
• Utilize SharePoint and email for communication and corrective actions.
• Ensure personnel complete annual trainings and report incidents and accidents.
• Follow Food Safety Plan and GMPs, including proper waste disposal, attire, and hygiene.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in daily staff meetings, sharing ideas and concerns.

Skills & Specifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory control.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Organized with good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Inventory Tracking System.
• Dependable, able to resolve conflicts, and follow instructions.

Additional Requirements

• Attend scheduled work.
• Read/write in English, perform basic math.
• Lift up to 55 lbs.
• Support and back up other inventory personnel.

Reporting to the Raw Material and Receiving Manager, with a pay rate of $19.10/hour.
