Job summary

Northrop Grumman, Moss Point, MS, is seeking a Traffic Administrator to plan, schedule, and route inbound and outbound shipments domestically and internationally. You will coordinate carriers, audit freight bills, and evaluate routes to balance cost and timeliness.

The role involves supporting multiple programs, including classified shipments, with focus on KPI-driven efficiency and affordability. The position reports to the GSC Sector Logistics Manager and requires strong problem-solving,

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain or Traffic or Shipping or Warehousing required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable time.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) applications.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for domestic and international traffic operations on site.
• Prepare and tender SOFO-10 for multiple programs and classified programs.
• Submit DD250S to WAWF and tender shipment using DTMS, ITMS, and FedEx.
• Coordinate dedicated truck shipments for various programs including classified shipments.
• Respond to client needs by email, calls, tracking, and moving shipments.
• Monitor and ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Support Shipping/Receiving with unloading/loading of small packages.
• Provide support to import by uploading documents to the file repository.
• Research and resolve customer or supplier issues.
• Update training documents and scan work to remote teammates.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Project Management, Business Management, operations OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 4 years of experience

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Project Management, Business Management, operations OR a Master’s Degree with at least 1 years of experience OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 6 years of experience
