Job summary

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)
• Research and write on management labor relations issues
• Represent management in NLRB elections
• Provide legal advice to employers regarding union organizing, corporate campaigns, card check, and neutrality agreements
• Negotiate and/or advise on collective bargaining agreements
• Handle grievance and arbitration proceedings
• Obtain mass picketing injunctions
• Advise on protected concerted activity and other NLRA matters
• Conduct management training on labor relations
• Advise management in union work‑stoppage situations
• Deal with advice and counsel for clients regarding California workplace laws and other assignments as needed

Skills and Educational Requirements

• JD from an ABA‑accredited law school
• Minimum of 2 years of traditional labor law experience involving labor relations
• MO bar admission
• Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques
• Excellent attention to detail

Other Information
