Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience leading software engineering and technology teams responsible for mission-critical trading and wealth management platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Wealth Management trading operations including advisor-directed trading, portfolio trading, rebalancing workflows, block trading, trade desk workflows, and order management processes.
• Experience with order management systems (OMS), trade execution platforms, market connectivity, execution venues, and downstream settlement processes.
• Strong architecture and delivery experience across distributed systems, microservices, APIs, integration platforms, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience operating in regulated financial services environments with audit, compliance, risk management, and supervisory controls.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams including engineering, business analysis, QA, SRE, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Trade Desk Order Entry (TDOE) platform, providing strategic and operational leadership for trader-facing applications.
• Drive the long-term evolution and stability of TDOE in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with traders, operations, product management, and tech teams to gather requirements and deliver improved trading efficiency.
• Lead requirements discovery and solution design for trading workflows to translate needs into scalable tech.
• Shape the strategic roadmap for TDOE to improve workflows and automate processes.
• Provide leadership across order lifecycle management from capture to post-trade processing.
• Ensure end-to-end trading workflow integration with OMS, COE, Rebalancing, and Architecture teams.
• Lead modernization efforts including UI revamp, API enablement, and service-based architecture.
• Maintain platform reliability, performance, observability, and security for critical trading operations.
• Oversee delivery across engineering, QA, production support, SRE, and vendor teams.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability and ownership.
• Communicate platform strategy and delivery status to executives and stakeholders.
