Job description

Role Overview

The Trading System Support team is responsible for maintaining TP ICAP’s trading platforms, trade resolution, post‑trade services and market data APIs. The team operates globally across London, New Jersey, Hong Kong and Singapore, playing a central role in the launch of hybrid trading and volume matching platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide market support to clients, brokers and sales teams.
• Configure static data for client and instrument set‑up.
• Onboard clients and support post‑trade services, order routing and market data.
• Represent the team as a key project stakeholder in all trading initiatives.
• Ensure TP ICAP’s markets operate in an orderly, speed‑to‑market compliant controlled manner.
• Implement access controls for TP ICAP’s electronic and voice offerings.
• Maintain all groups and pages, including sorting across multiple asset classes.
• Create firms, traders, brokers and voice accounts.
• Manage the auction calendar and roll new instruments onto the screen.
• Work with NEX/Brokertec for customer and firm mapping.
• Oversee market control of all products on the trading systems.
• Investigate and escalade system issues to production support or developers following the global support framework.
• Provide broker/trader support, training and screen configuration on electronic platforms.
• Handle client queries, connectivity issues and post‑trade issues with clients.

Essential Qualifications

• High technical competency with experience in market monitoring and support.
• Ability to manage small projects independently to completion.
• API support experience, including familiarity with FIX protocol.
• Multi‑asset class knowledge with strong client‑facing skills.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a good understanding of trade flows and support role experience from a market or technical perspective.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience deploying trading applications via the internet, troubleshooting connectivity, and packaging problems.
• Knowledge of FIX client onboarding and HTML5.
• Experience in credit derivatives, bonds, FX products, OTC products.
• Experience working within an investment bank or inter‑dealer broker.

Compensation

Band/Level: Professional 4. Salary: $60,000 per annum.
