Job summary

CTG is seeking a Trading Systems Business Analyst in Piscataway, NJ. The role focuses on analyzing trading system requirements, supporting front-to-back workflows, and coordinating UAT and releases.

Collaboration with traders, quants, developers, and risk teams is essential to shape effective solutions. The candidate should have strong SQL/Excel skills, Python or similar scripting experience, and a solid background in capital markets, trade lifecycle processes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst supporting trading systems, capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.
• Experience working with traders, quants, developers, risk teams, and technology stakeholders.
• Experience with trade capture, pricing, position management, and front-to-back trading workflows.
• Experience supporting UAT, functional testing, releases, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document trading system requirements, workflows, and front-to-back trade lifecycle processes.
• Support trade capture, pricing, position management, and trading operations.
• Partner with traders, quants, developers, risk managers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test execution, defect resolution, and release validation.
• Provide production support for pricing breaks, connectivity issues, booking discrepancies, and trading system incidents.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production releases.
