Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial client, seeks an Investment Client Technical Services Contractor in hybrid- Charlotte, NC to support the CTS team with daily brokerage and investment operations. Duties include data entry, cost basis updates, securities data cleanup, ticket management, and metrics reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, thriving in a fast-paced financial services environment while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment operations, brokerage operations, securities operations, financial services, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data and requests.
• Experience with ticketing/workflow systems.
• Familiarity with cost basis, CUSIPs, securities data, or brokerage operations preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with internal/external teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a process-driven environment where accuracy and timely follow-through are critical.
• Experience with Confluence or similar documentation platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry and investment operations support with high accuracy.
• Process cost basis updates and manage tickets with Cost Basis, Maxit, and Apex Clearing teams.
• Clean up securities data and research placeholder symbols with Apex Clearing.
• Submit and manage ServiceNow FPSL change requests.
• Review Salesforce support tickets and process Maxit cost basis updates.
• Record and maintain daily investment metrics and operational reporting.
• Support daily investment release management and maintain release pages in Confluence.
• Track open requests and ensure timely resolution with relevant teams.
• Maintain documentation across operational systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve data issues.
