Job summary

Mission Staffing seeks a capable Operations Analyst to join an investment operations team supporting daily portfolio activities for institutional credit and alternative investment portfolios.

You will engage with portfolio managers, traders, tax, compliance, and operations staff to ensure accurate fund books and timely settlements, using platforms like ClearPar, Loan IQ, WSO, and IHS Markit. Strong Excel and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in credit operations, loan operations, trade support, or investment operations.
• Experience supporting private credit investments and related instruments.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Private Credit Operations: support day-to-day activities across private credit investments.
• Transaction Execution & Settlement: coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties for timely closings.
• Agent & Administrator Coordination: monitor settlement pipelines and resolve funding issues.
• Trade & Loan Processing: support trade capture, settlements, and loan activity using core platforms.
• Asset-Based Finance & Structured Credit: familiarity with ABS, securitizations, and related structures.
• Collateral & Borrowing Base: assist on collateral reporting and covenant monitoring.
• Deal Funding & Settlement: understand funding mechanics and cash movements.
• Cash Flow & Waterfall Knowledge: familiarity with distribution and interest allocations.
• Portfolio Operations: assist with reconciliations, onboarding, and governance workflows.
• Controls & Documentation: ensure proper documentation aligned with standards.
• Financial Reporting Support: collaborate on quarterly closes and audits.
• Process Improvement: identify workflow improvements and data quality enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: work with investment, finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
