Qualifications

• Experience in investment operations, brokerage operations, securities operations, financial services, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data and requests.
• Experience with ticketing/workflow systems.
• Familiarity with cost basis, CUSIPs, securities data, or brokerage operations preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with internal/external teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a process-driven environment where accuracy and timely follow-through are critical.
• Experience with Confluence or similar documentation platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry and investment operations support with high accuracy.
• Process cost basis updates and manage tickets with Cost Basis, Maxit, and Apex Clearing teams.
• Clean up securities data and research placeholder symbols with Apex Clearing.
• Submit and manage ServiceNow FPSL change requests.
• Review Salesforce support tickets and process Maxit cost basis updates.
• Record and maintain daily investment metrics and operational reporting.
• Support daily investment release management and maintain release pages in Confluence.
• Track open requests and ensure timely resolution with relevant teams.
• Maintain documentation across operational systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve data issues.

Investment Client Technical Services (Contract | Hybrid- Charlotte, NC)

Overview

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial client, is seeking an Investment Client Technical Services Contractor to support the Client Technical Services (CTS) team with day-to-day brokerage and investment operations. This role will provide operational support across data entry, cost basis maintenance, securities data cleanup, ticket management, daily metrics, and release management.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry and investment operations support activities with a high level of accuracy.
• Process and maintain cost basis updates, including managing tickets and coordinating requests with Cost Basis, Maxit, and Apex Clearing teams.
• Perform symbol and CUSIP cleanup, including researching securities data and communicating with Apex Clearing regarding placeholder symbols.
• Submit and manage ServiceNow FPSL change requests.
• Review and parse Salesforce support tickets, including identifying and processing Maxit cost basis update requests.
• Record and maintain daily investment metrics and operational reporting.
• Support daily investment release management, including coordinating email communications and maintaining the daily release page in Confluence.
• Track open requests, follow up with appropriate teams, and ensure issues are addressed within expected timelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records across operational systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve data and brokerage support issues.
