Susquehanna International is seeking a Trading Connectivity Engineer to support the Proprietary Trading Services team. You will onboard new exchange connectivity end-to-end, configure gateways, and troubleshoot production issues across multiple venues and technologies.

The role requires 3+ years in electronic trading connectivity, strong scripting and Linux skills, and experience with FIX and observability tools. Collaboration with traders and developers is essential.

Formación

• 3+ years supporting production electronic trading systems or trading connectivity.
• Familiar with FIX protocol at session and application layer.
• Exposure to exchange-native binary order-entry protocols (OUCH, Pillar, BOE, etc.).
• Scripting languages (Python, bash, shell).
• Linux command line experience and system metrics/logs.
• Observability tooling (Grafana, Elasticsearch).
• Familiarity with AI code generation tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Networking fundamentals (multicast, routing, firewalls).
• Structured change control and incident handling.
• Strong communication with traders, exchanges, developers.
• Knowledge of financial instruments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Onboard new exchange connectivity end-to-end - venues, sessions, ports, and MPIDs from requirements through certification and production cutover.
• Configure and maintain order-routing gateways and pre-trade risk controls.
• Verify readiness before open – test orders, session state, reference data.
• Investigate production problems end-to-end with logs and traces.
• Develop scripts and tools for monitoring production environments.
• Act as liaison between trading desks, developers, and platform teams.
• Track externally driven projects to completion.
• Provide pre- and post-trade support for traders and researchers.
