Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP is seeking a Trading Connectivity Engineer to join our Proprietary Trading Services team in Bala Cynwyd, PA. You will be the face of order routing across gateways, diagnosing issues with partial symptoms, and restoring functionality during trading hours.

You will onboard new venues end-to-end, configure gateways and pre-trade risk controls, verify readiness before open, and work with traders and developers to improve monitoring, tooling and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting production electronic trading systems.
• Proficient in FIX protocol at session and application layer.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and Linux.
• Knowledge of SQL and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new exchange connectivity end to end—from specification to production cutover.
• Configure and maintain order-routing gateways and pre-trade risk controls.
• Verify trading environment readiness before open and respond to issues during the day.
• Investigate production problems end to end using logs and captures.
• Develop scripts and tools for monitoring the production environment.
• Act as liaison between traders, developers, platform teams and others.
• Track externally driven projects to completion.
• Provide pre and post-trade support for traders and researchers.
